Summer Day Camp 2010
 
Farm Camp
Each week is geared for hands-on activities for the 5-10 year olds.
Lots of farm fun including:
- Visiting our farm animals (including farm “chores”)
- Exploring our environment
- Gardening
- Games
- Fresh air
- Crafts
- Water play
- Learn to hypnotize a chicken
- And more…
* Bring your own snacks and lunches, but we will provide beverages for
the days attending, as well as lunch on the last day.
Culinary Camp
This four day camp is geared to 8-12 year olds.
There will be another trip to Sheldon’s Berry Farm to pick blueberries!! Time will be spent in the garden, enjoying the outdoors and doing other food-related activites.
Children can expect to make a variety of food items with a strong focus on local foods.
Examples of what was made last year include:
- Pie from scratch
- Pizza - from pizza dough & sauce to choosing their own toppings
- Freezer Jam
- Homemade lemonade & a variety of smoothies
- Potato latkes
- Seasonal soup
- More surprises!!!!!

Summer Fun At The Farm

9 am – 4 pm each day
$160 / week ($38 / day) [includes HST]
Camp is led by an enthusiastic, responsible young adult - but adult supervised, to ensure a memorable and safe experience for all of our young guests.
Sunscreen, Hat, Swimsuit, Towel, Two Snacks, Lunch, Water Bottle and Bug Repellant Necessary !
